In response to not wanting to set New Year's resolutions that I would grow tired of, or be hard on myself for not attaining, I began choosing a word for the year several years ago. A word to be a guide for my intention for the year. One year, my friend Mary Jane and I had the same word, which was fun.
This year I had two words in mind. Check out this new blog post Can I Have a Word with You? to see how I resolved this dilemma.

My house has been full of visitors (hooray!), so I put my Cheticamp frame away for a couple of weeks. (Yes, I'm missing it!) In the meantime, I've been knitting a few gifts and preparing to take not one, but two classes this month! I'm taking Fiona Duthie's Surface Design in Feltmaking class, as well as Jean Haley's Winter Hat Hook Along. I'm a little over the top excited!
If you would like to own one of my fibre art creations, take a look at my gallery or contact me. Custom designs also available.
