How are you creating space for creativity and moments of joy in your life? September can be a busy month. After the summer, it can feel like we are hitting the ground at warp speed. If you are feeling overwhelmed with the pace of September, check out this blog post 4 Strategies for Cutting Through the Overwhelm. I know I've needed more than one of these strategies this month.
Coming soon to YouTube! October 15 is the launch of my webcast series (think podcast but with video) called Renegade Conversations. For more information and to find out who my first guest is, click here. Get ready for thought-provoking discussions that will make you question the norms and ignite your own renegade spirit. I'd be so pleased if you would subscribe to my YouTube channel so you don't miss an episode! And of course if you have any suggestions for potential Renegade guests, please drop me a line by replying to this email.
Gallery Hop this Thursday night! Besides interviewing amazing women for my Renegade Conversations, I've also been preparing a new piece of art that I can work on during the Gallery Hop, this Thursday, September 21 from 6 to 8. I'll working on my latest piece of artwork, a mixed media piece called Wild Woman Spreads Her Wings, at Art 1274 Hollis Gallery. The Gallery Hop is a really fun event, where the Halifax galleries stay open for the evening and the public is invited to drop by, meet some of the artists and more. I hope if you are in the neighbourhood you will hop on by to say hello! And if you've always wanted to learn to rug hook, I can teach you on Thursday night!
Check out my latest Artworks in progress below. I hope you like them!

Artwork in Progress
My newest piece is called Wild Woman Spreads Her Wings. It is a mixed media piece, combining wet felted fabric stuffed with wool fleece, and rug hooking. I'm so excited about it! I've been busy getting it ready to sew onto my Cheticamp frame, as I'm using it as a demonstration
piece for the Gallery Hop tomorrow night (Thursday). Nothing like a deadline to get me moving!
If you would like to own one of my fibre art creations, take a look at my gallery or contact me. Custom designs also available.
