Do you find yourself in a hyper-alert state? Do you sometimes feel you are walking on eggshells? Waiting for the shoe to drop, or something awful to happen? Given we just came through a pandemic, not to mention other world events, it's no surprise that many of us are struggling to feel safe yet calm. If this resonates with you, you will want to check out my latest blog post No more eggshells for me! Warning, this blog post gets a bit personal, so skip it if you find personal sharing icky.
Stories are Made Loop by Loop has opened! Curator Susan Feller has gathered us artists and done all of the behind the scenes work.
Thanks Susan! Here is Susan's latest blog
describing the set up and what else is available at the exhibit. I'm pleased to have my One Loop at a Time books and some of my Chakra Colour Pins at this venue and available for purchase.
IGNITE Your Story Telling Super Powers - July 17 to 21 Many of you told me how much you appreciated the online speaking event Go To The Page about
journaling in times of change and transition that I spoke at last month. This month I'm part of another FREE event, IGNITE. (Note, you will be given an opportunity to purchase the talks but this is absolutely voluntary.)
This event is about telling your story - whether it is to gain clients, promote your business, or leave your legacy. There are lots of ways to get involved, interact with the speakers and other registrants. I spoke at the event yesterday and will be participating in a live chat with the other speakers and participants today, July 19. My talk is called The Healing Power of Story and will be available to listen to for the next few days. I hope if you are interested in telling your story that you'll join me today at the live session. Register today.

Creating Space "I've been thinking about something you said a while back Meryl. It was about how making and creating were both a luxury and an absolute necessity for you. I'm realizing how important spending time with my fabrics and my art is to me." Marilyn
I'm having so much fun with a set of 4 new Wild Woman Hair - the Renegade series. Here's the first one, still a work in progress. I'm considering changing the face back to hooking, as I think it is competing with the 'necklace' and the hair. Stay tuned.
Besides hooking and
wet felting, I've been busy sorting through my materials cupboard. I'm finding all kinds of yarns and fabrics I didn't know I had! I'm looking forward to a newly organized system.
If you would like to own one of my fibre art creations, take a look at my gallery or contact me. Custom designs also available.
