I find myself being drawn to the colour grey. I'm spinning two grey Gotland lamb fleeces into the bumpy, shiny yarn I love to hook with. I've been working on a series of grey haired women that I call my 'Ode to Lisa LaFlamme' series. And I've been thinking about people who have inspired me this year. The exciting news is, a friend connected me with Ms. LaFlamme and I've written a blog post with her comments. It is called Is grey the new burning our bras? I hope it resonates with you.

I will be teaching a class this February (online, so anyone can join in) called Journaling for Design. Registration is opening soon. My class is part of In the Studio online Workshop Week 6. I've been traveling and itching to get a new design on my Cheticamp frame. The design I have in my journal is another in my 'I am enough' series. This one will be hooked with a grey background and will feature abstract shapes in the eight Chakra colours. I can't
wait to get started on it.
I purchased another glorious fleece from Veronica at Dover Farm. Her fleeces are always super clean, and she includes careful notes about the quality of the fleece so there are no surprises. This one is another Gotland lamb fleece in a soft pewter colour.
As soon as I clear my desk a bit I will be starting to wash it.
