A new blog post and journaling prompt about connecting with our inner wise self. New speaker series coming up, artwork in progress, the catalog for Stories Made Loop by Loop is online and more!
We used this journaling
prompt in our Creating Space live session last week. It was a prompt I heard on the recent Go to the Page Speaker Series, sponsored by the IAJW. The prompt we used was 'Hello old friend...
or Hello Wise Woman...'. Our theme for the session of Creating Space was cultivating our inner listening. We all have the answers we need within - if we listen to our inner wisdom.
This prompt was the beginning of honouring that wisdom, by speaking with our inner voice as the old friend or voice
of wisdom that it is. In response to this prompt, I have a new blog post Hello Wise Woman. I hope you will check it out and perhaps write your wise inner friend a note. And, if you were inspired by the Go to the Page Speaker Series, consider joining the International Association for Journal Writing. It's a wonderful community.
I want to extend a very warm welcome to the many new subscribers that downloaded my Creativity Workbook Sampler and hopped on board this Heart Notes. I'm so happy you are here.
IGNITE Your Story Telling Super Powers - July 17 to 21 Many of you told me how much you appreciated the online speaking event Go To The Page about journaling in times of change and transition that I spoke at last month. This month I'm very pleased to be part

I'll be speaking during the event and also participating in a live chat with the other speakers and participants. My talk is called The Healing Power of Story. I hope if you are interested in telling your story that you'll join me. Register today.

Creating Space "I've been thinking about something you said a while back Meryl. It was about how making and creating were both a luxury and an absolute necessity for you. I'm realizing how important spending time with my fabrics and my art is to me." Marilyn
I'm having so much fun with a set of 4 new Wild Woman Hair - the Renegade series. The one in the top left is about embracing a wild new hair in a bun style.
I'm waiting to hear about a couple of grant proposals, getting prepared for some fall corporate work I have on the
books and ramping up for a very exciting new webcast project which I will be launching this fall. (Hint, think Renegade ...)
If you would like to own one of my fibre art creations, take a look at my gallery or contact me. Custom designs also available.
Some wet-felted elements for my new Wild Woman Hair - the Renegade Series.
