Plans are coming together for the online In the Studio Workshop Week 4 in October. This online week
of workshops, panel discussions and artist gatherings takes place October 23 to 30. We have a really super lineup of classes which are in the process of being announced on Facebook and Instagram. Teachers include Susan Feller, Elizabeth Miller, Rebecca Martin, Nadine Flagel, Anastasia Tiller, Domenica Queen, Karen Miller and myself. Creating Space "has been liberating for me. I wanted to make time to explore my creativity, but there have been so many unexpected benefits of being part of this community. Meryl has created a safe space where I realize I'm not the only one experiencing challenges in carving out time for self care and wellness. Plus I have access to a group of amazing creatives that I would never have met before."
I've been having a great time in the dye pot (using Lucy Richard's Wooly Soul String formulas). Besides stocking up for myself, I've been dyeing a selection of my hand spun yarns (from roving and from curly locks) for the students in my Get Hooked at Sea class. They will be Chakra colour bundles and are going to be so beautiful! (As of printing there were still a few spots available on this sailing adventure. Please help spread the word!)
I'm also working on some one of a kind Chakra Colour pins for my shop and for the ART1274 Hollis Gallery. These will be available in limited quantities soon.
