Heart Notes: Creating ease and flow
If September was a hectic month for you,
you're in the right place. Many people have reported feeling too busy and overwhelmed this month. This issue of Heart Notes (and tomorrow's live session on Creating Space) is about creating a sense of ease and flow, stepping away from the overwhelm and grounding ourselves.

I have several blog posts on this topic, including The One Loop at a Time theory of self care, What's in your tool kit? (for staying grounded, getting inspired, for getting in the flow again), and It's simple - really - a practical exercise to cut through the overwhelm. Think: keep it simple, don't multi-task, eat grounding foods (such as squash and root vegetables), and get plenty of rest and gentle exercise. I hope the practical tips and writing prompts in these posts resonate with you and help you to create a sense of ease and flow as we enter the fall season.

Our Creating Space live session for September is tomorrow. We will be talking about how to create ease and flow and how to move forward when you are overwhelmed. I'll also be answering questions from the Creating Space community and members will be sharing what they are currently working on. It's going to be fun! We'd love to have you join us. Check out Creating Space and consider joining today.

Artwork in Progress

In  preparation for the December show Squared Away at The Ice House Gallery in Tatamagouche, I'm busy designing mini creations (6" x 6"), including a mini Wild Woman Hair series that I'm calling my Ode to Lisa LaFlamme. Here is one of the Ode to Lisa LaFlamme pieces in progress.

If you would like to own one of my fibre art creations, take a look at my gallery or contact me. Custom designs also available.
