you're in the right place. Many people have reported feeling too busy and overwhelmed this month. This issue of Heart Notes (and tomorrow's live session on Creating Space) is about creating a sense of ease and flow, stepping away from the overwhelm and grounding ourselves.
I have several blog posts on this topic, including The One Loop at a Time theory of self care, What's in your tool kit? (for staying grounded, getting inspired, for getting in the flow again), and It's simple - really - a practical exercise to cut through the overwhelm. Think: keep it simple, don't multi-task, eat grounding foods (such as squash and root vegetables), and get plenty of rest and gentle exercise. I hope the practical tips and writing prompts in these posts resonate
with you and help you to create a sense of ease and flow as we enter the fall season.
