Heart Notes: Letting go from a new lens
What if I could view the process of letting go
from a new lens? What if I could picture letting go with a fullness, a softness, a richness, an ease? As if letting go is a natural process designed to prepare me for the next phase or cycle of my life. I hope you will enjoy this new blog post Letting Go From a New Lens and that it will inspire you to rethink your process of letting go of old habits, things you no longer need.

In Canada we just celebrated Thanksgiving, my favourite holiday. I love getting together over good food with family and friends to celebrate the bounty of the harvest. This year our plans to visit the West Coast of Canada to celebrate with our eldest son and his partner and his extended family for Thanksgiving were interrupted by Covid. Instead we had a few quiet days and celebrated with a glass of wine and friends over Zoom.  I hope as you settle into the month of October that you experience many moments of joy, abundance, ease and flow.

I received the following note from Valerie, a participant in Wild Women at Sea on Get Hooked at Sea this August - "Here it is ... work of art from a wild woman. Thanks for guiding my journey." It was a pleasure Valerie. So lovely to see what you have created from your heart. (See photo below.)

Artwork in Progress

In  preparation for the December show Squared Away at The Ice House Gallery in Tatamagouche, I'm busy designing mini creations (6" x 6"), such as the Field of Dreams below. It was inspired by a Rumi quote that means a lot to me.

I've also started a mini Wild Woman Hair series that I'm calling my Ode to Lisa LaFlamme, a national news anchor in Canada that was let go from the network after she let her hair go grey during the pandemic. It has become quite the controversy and there has been an outpouring of support and advocacy for older women.

If you would like to own one of my fibre art creations, take a look at my gallery or contact me. Custom designs also available.
