In Canada we just celebrated Thanksgiving, my favourite holiday. I love getting together over good food with family and friends to celebrate the
bounty of the harvest. This year our plans to visit the West Coast of Canada to celebrate with our eldest son and his partner and his extended family for Thanksgiving were interrupted by Covid. Instead we had a few quiet days and celebrated with a glass of wine and friends over Zoom. I hope as you settle into the month of October that you experience many moments of joy, abundance, ease and flow.

In preparation for the December show Squared Away at The Ice House Gallery in Tatamagouche, I'm busy designing mini creations (6" x 6"), such as the Field of Dreams below. It was inspired by a Rumi quote that means a lot to me.
I've also started a mini Wild Woman Hair series that I'm calling my Ode to Lisa LaFlamme, a national news anchor in Canada that was let go from the network after she let her hair go grey during the pandemic. It has become quite the
controversy and there has been an outpouring of support and advocacy for older women.
