Heart Notes: Corn and tomatoes
August in the Maritimes reminds
me of cool nights, fresh corn on the cob and tomatoes. This summer we are blessed to have a bumper crop of tiny tomatoes and basil - such a great combination! Instead of my usual self care blog post, I've posted a recipe for using up leftover corn on the cob, with of course tomatoes and basil. You can find it here.

In my free weekly prompt community Creating Space we are writing and sketching about letting go and what do we want to get started on. Are you starting to think about the fall and look forward to new projects, harvesting in the garden, perhaps some travel?

Renegade Conversations - The Summer Road Trip Edition continues
Are you spending time in the car this summer? Travelling to visit friends and family or just on holiday? This summer I am re-releasing the audio versions of Seasons One to Three of Renegade Conversations. Expect them every Tuesday and Thursday, all summer long.

Feel free to download (&SUBSCRIBE) wherever you get your podcasts, and take Renegade Conversations to the beach, on a family road trip or even to your back deck with your spinning wheel. I've added some poll questions at the end of each episode, so feel free to chime in! Look for Renegade Conversations - The Summer Road Trip Edition on Tuesdays and Thursdays all summer long.

You can access Renegade Conversations on YouTube here.
Don't forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel . Or if you prefer to listen only, the audio version is available on Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts.

Did you notice?
Did you notice that I sent out only one Heart Notes newsletter in July and August? I decided to take a bit of a break and to not clutter up your inbox during our summer. Should I continue with a monthly instead of a twice monthly schedule for the fall? Let me know what you think by hitting reply to this email.

I've added a few new designs to my Wearable art collection here's the link to order online. Have a look and let me know what you think!

Check out my latest Artworks in progress below. I hope you like them!

This summer we are blessed with a bumper crop of tiny tomatoes, thanks to my urban farmer son How we're living.
I love sending you these notes from my heart. It means so much to me that you take the time to read and sometimes even hit reply! Thanks so much for reading.

Warmly,

Artwork in Progress

I've begun preparations for my Chakra Colours by Design class at TIGHR (see calendar above). I'm spinning yarns that will be dyed in the 8 chakra colours, drawing patterns and making Chakra Colour Pin kits.

As part of my Chakra Colours by Design class I created a new hooked piece as a visual aid. I'm about to take it off the frame today.

If you would like to own one of my fibre art creations, take a look at my gallery or contact me. Custom designs also available.
